Training & gym
Choose a polyester–elastane blend that wicks sweat and stretches through squats and lifts. Tops should be fitted but not tight so they don't ride up under a barbell, and shorts with a 7" inseam and built-in liner suit most sessions.

Everyday / street
Cotton-rich jersey or a brushed cotton–poly mix keeps the athletic look but feels softer for a full day out. A regular or relaxed fit works best, and tapered joggers with a cuffed ankle sit cleanly over trainers. In summer, lighter colours and mid-weight tees stay noticeably cooler.

Lounge & recovery
Here softness matters more than performance: French terry, fleece-backed cotton or modal blends. Go for a looser cut with an elastic drawcord waist that doesn't press after a hard session. Ideal for post-gym, travel days and evenings at home.

Layering for cooler months
From November, mountain towns and coastal evenings call for layers. Start with a moisture-wicking base, add a brushed-fleece quarter-zip or hoodie, and finish with a light windbreaker for rain. Size up one on the outer shell if you'll wear a hoodie underneath.
